The Chained Quiz Addon allows you to combine multiple quizzes created with Quiz Maker and present them as one connected quiz experience.
Instead of creating one large quiz with different categories, you can link separate quizzes together and let users complete them in a specific order. You can also require users to pass each quiz before moving on to the next one, making the addon especially useful for courses, training programs, exams, and step-by-step assessments.

The Chained Quiz Addon is a convenient way to organize multiple quizzes into a structured learning or assessment path. Instead of building one complicated quiz from scratch, you can reuse existing quizzes and connect them in the order you need.

How to Use the Chained Quiz Addon
Step 1: Install the Addon
Download the Chained Quiz Addon ZIP file and install it from your WordPress dashboard:
Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
After installation, activate the addon.
Step 2: Open Chained Quiz
Once the addon is activated, a new Chained Quiz section will appear in the Quiz Maker menu.
Open it and select Add New to create your first chained quiz.
Step 3: Add Your Quizzes
Enter a title for your chained quiz.
Then use the Add Quiz option to add the quizzes you want to connect. Select each quiz from the dropdown and arrange them in the order you want users to complete them.
Step 4: Choose the Passing Logic
Use the Report Calculate Type option to determine how users move through the quiz chain.
With the standard Take Quiz option, users can continue to the next quiz regardless of their previous score.
If you enable the Pass Quiz system, users must achieve the required passing score in the current quiz before they can proceed to the next one.
Step 5: Display a Final Report
Enable the Print Report Table option if you want users to see a summary after completing all quizzes.
The report can include:
- Quiz title
- Score
- Completion time
Step 6: Publish the Chained Quiz
Check the Chained Quiz Status to make sure the quiz is published.
After configuring all the settings, save your chained quiz and copy its shortcode.
Step 7: Add the Quiz to Your Website
Paste the shortcode into any WordPress post or page where you want the chained quiz to appear.
You can continue editing the chained quiz even after it has been published, so you can update its settings whenever needed.
* This addon works only with the Business or Developer versions of the Quiz Maker plugin.
