How to Use the myCred Integration Addon
Step 1: Install the Required Plugins
Install and activate the Quiz Maker plugin on your WordPress website.
Then install and activate both the myCred plugin and the myCred Integration Addon from the WordPress Plugins section.
Step 2: Open the Integration Settings
After activating the addon, go to:
Quiz Maker → General Settings → Integrations
Find the myCred section to make sure the integration is available and ready to use.
Step 3: Set Up Your myCred Account
Open the myCred settings from your WordPress dashboard.
If you are using myCred for the first time, complete the initial setup by creating your first Point Type.
If myCred is already configured on your website, you can move directly to the Hooks section.
Step 4: Add the Quiz Maker Hook
From the myCred dashboard, go to:
myCred → Hooks
Find Quiz Maker in the list of available hooks.
Click on it and select Add Hook to activate it.
Once added, Quiz Maker will appear in your Active Hooks list.
Step 5: Configure the Reward Settings
Open the Quiz Maker hook settings and configure the reward options according to your needs.
You can specify:
- Points to Earn – choose how many points users receive.
- Limits – control how often users can earn points.
- Log Template – customize how the reward activity is recorded.
Step 6: Save Your Settings
After configuring the reward system, save your changes.
From this point forward, myCred will automatically award users points when they submit Quiz Maker quizzes according to the rules you’ve configured.
