Razorpay Integration Addon

The Razorpay Integration Addon allows you to monetize your quizzes by connecting the Quiz Maker plugin with the Razorpay payment gateway. This integration provides a convenient and secure way to collect payments directly through your quizzes, enabling you to offer premium or paid quiz experiences to your users.

Note: The Razorpay Addon works only with the Business/Developer and Agency packages of the Quiz Maker plugin and must be purchased separately.

1. Installing the Addon #

1. Make sure the WordPress Quiz Plugin is installed on your website.
2. Then, go to your WordPress Dashboard > Plugins page.
3. There, click on the Add New button and then, the Upload Plugin button.
4. Upload the zip file of the addon and click on the Install Now button.

After activation, the Razorpay Addon will appear within the integrations section of the Quiz Maker plugin.

2. Enabling Razorpay Integration Addon #

By default, the Razorpay Addon is inactive. To enable it, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Quiz Maker → General Settings → Integrations.
2. Scroll down to find the Razorpay Integration section.
3. You will see two required fields: Razorpay Key ID and Razorpay Key Secret.
   • If you do not have a Razorpay account, create one by visiting Razorpay Account.
   • Copy your Key ID and Key Secret and paste them into the corresponding fields in the plugin.
4. Choose your preferred Payment Terms – either Lifetime payment or One-time payment.
5. Click on Save Changes to activate the Razorpay Addon.

Once saved, your Razorpay account is securely connected to the Quiz Maker plugin, and payments can now be processed through your quizzes.

3. Activating Razorpay for a Specific Quiz #

After completing the global setup, you need to enable Razorpay for individual quizzes.

1. Go to Quiz Maker → Quizzes.
2. Select the quiz you want to monetize.
3. Open the Settings of that quiz.
4. Navigate to the Integrations tab.
5. Find Razorpay Settings and check Enable Razorpay.
6. Enter the Amount that users must pay to access the quiz.
7. Choose your preferred Currency from the dropdown list.
8. In the Payment Details editor, write a custom message that will appear before users make the payment.
   Example: “You need to pay to access this quiz.”
9. Click on Save Changes.

Now, when users attempt to take this quiz, they will be prompted to complete payment through Razorpay. Once payment is successful, the quiz will automatically unlock for them.
