In our previous articles, we have already discussed the importance of collecting and analyzing the quiz submissions. Also, we discussed how to view the All Quizzes Submissions and Individual Quiz Submissions from the Admin Dashboard.
However, viewing the submissions is not enough. You always need to have this data at your hand so you can use it further. In this article, you will learn how to export both the results of all quizzes and the individual results of the quiz. So, let’s begin to explore the advanced features the WordPress Quiz Plugin provides.
All Submissions Export #
To find and export all submissions of all quizzes, please head to the Quiz Maker plugin > Results page. There, click on the Export button.
By clicking on the Export button, a popup will be opened where you can make some configurations related to the exporting. There are 3 exporting file formats available here: CSV, XLSX, and JSON.
- Filtering: You can filter the submissions by Users and Quizzes.
- Exporting of Guests’ Submissions: You can export the submissions of guests who haven’t inserted any personal data such as name and email.
- Start and End Date: You can specify the Start and End Dates and export the submissions of that period only.
- Exporting of only Guests’ Submissions: You can tick the checkbox and export only the guest users’ submissions.

All Submissions| Individual Detailed Report Export #
On the All Submissions page of the Quizzes, by going to the All Results Tab, you will find the results of all quizzes. Here, you can export the detailed report of the individual user’s submission for all quizzes.
You can export both all the submissions of all quizzes (as we discussed above) and you can click on the View Details button.
By clicking on the View Details button, a popup will appear. In the opened detailed report you will find the User Information, Quiz Information, and Questions sections for the given user. You can export the detailed report to PDF and XLSX file formats.
Individual Quiz Submissions #
Besides exporting all submissions of the quizzes, you can also export the submissions of your desired quiz.
All Submissions of the Individual Quiz #
For that, please follow these steps:
- Head to the Quiz Maker plugin > Results page.
- Click on your desired quiz to open its submissions.
- On the opened page, you can click on the Export Answers button and export all the submissions of the current quiz in the XLSX file format.
Once you click on the Export button, a popup will be opened for you, where you can give some configurations.
- Filtering: You can filter the submissions by Users and export only the corresponding users’ submissions. Also, you can filter the submissions by Start and End Dates.
- Guests’ Submissions Exporting: You can export the submissions of those non-logged-in users who have not inserted any personal data while passing the quiz, such as name and email.
- Only Guests’ Submissions Exporting: You can export the submissions of only the guest users.

Questions Export #
You can see the questions of the quiz, the correctness percentage, amount of correct answers, and the Question ID on the Questions Tab.
Also, you can export the questions. The exported file will contain columns like Correctness, the number of Correct answers, and the number of Answered questions.
Individual Detailed Report Export #
Besides exporting all the submissions of the individual quiz, the plugin also offers the feature to export the individual user’s results detailed report.
To export the detailed report, please click on the Detailed Report button on the Individual Quiz Submissions page.
By clicking on the Detailed Report button, a popup will be opened with the User Information, Quiz Information, and Questions of the Quiz. The user can export the detailed report to PDF and XLSX file formats.
